Getting Started

Follow these common steps to set up any authentication method in Tooldeck.

1. Navigate to Accounts

  1. Click the "Manage Accounts" button in the navigation menu to access account settings.
  2. You will be prompted to the accounts management page.

2. Add New Account

  1. On the accounts page, locate and click the "Add Account" button.
  2. This will open the account creation process.

3. Enter Account Name

Provide a name for your account that will help you identify it later.

4. Select Authentication Method

Choose your preferred authentication method from the available options.

API Token
You will be provided with an API key
  • • Provide the token that is used in the API
Bearer Token
Enter username and password
  • Provide your credentials
OAuth 2.0
Click authenticate to connect
  • • Choose your provider
  • • Click authenticate
  • • Complete provider login

5. Complete Authentication

Follow the specific steps for your chosen authentication method:

  • API: Copy your generated API token
  • Bearer: Enter username and password
  • OAuth: Complete provider's authentication flow
